Episode 55: Dr. Ronald Hoffman Interviews ME on Intelligent Medicine.

This intro requires few words. We have a friend with a huge podcast and radio audience. 170 stations strong and he gave us the courtesy of interviewing me to help us get our stories told and raise the awareness for the MB condition. Dr. Ronald Hoffman, the longest running physician hosted radio show in syndication on 170 radio stations had no idea what a Myocardial Bridge was. He wanted to know and he wanted his audience to know once he took a look at the book. He gets it and he understood it well enough that he wanted to help us share it to his audience. He saw the value to both his listeners as well as the doctors that listen to his Intelligent Medicine radio show and podcast. With the deepest gratitude, I cannot thank him enough. We're making noise, we're getting traction and we're saving lives in our collective effort to continue to keep getting the word out. Thank you Dr. Hoffman for your interest to host me on "Intelligent Medicine Podcast"!

Welcome to today's Intelligent Medicine Podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Ronald Hoffman. We're going to be talking about cardiovascular disease, but from an entirely uh unique and novel perspective. In fact, a perspective that I personally was not aware of. And I think I have a you know fairly encyclopedic knowledge of you know many facets of medicine and have a good understanding of cardiovascular disease. This came at me completely unforeseen. It's a story of how in many cases cardiovascular symptoms that seem to be related to blockage, the traditional atherosclerosis model, may be due to an entirely different paradigm. With me today is Jeff Holden. He is a patient activist who's trying to spread the word about something called myocardial bridges.
SPEAKER_01It's actually me being interviewed. And the gentleman interviewing me is a renowned doctor with one of the longest-running physician-hosted programs on radio across the country, syndicated across the country on over 170 radio stations. Dr. Ronald Hoffman's Intelligent Medicine is the podcast that I'll be a guest on this episode. And I'll have the links for you down below or in the show notes, depending on how you're getting this podcast. But I can't share how excited I am about it and how much I appreciate him giving us the opportunity to share our story. In his 40 years of practice, he hasn't heard of a myocardial bridge. And he was absolutely willing to not only learn but to share it across his entire platform to help us get our message out. So once you listen, I think you'll be as excited as I am about it. And I can't ask you enough to please forward it, share it, because here's a doctor, somebody in the professional medical field who's going to be able to help convince and share that story with other doctors who may not really understand. But because of who he is, because of his persuasive capabilities, and because of the way he addresses the situation and his unfamiliarity with it, I think it's just amazing. I can't say how appreciative I am for Dr. Ronald Hoffman, Intelligent Medicine, giving us the opportunity to get our story told. So do with it as much as you possibly can. Like I said, the links will be in the show notes. And if you're watching it on YouTube, we'll have the link below. All right? Thanks everybody. Have a great Fourth of July.
